A type of paranormal activity where the spirit or entity involved shows signs of consciousness and awareness of its surroundings. Unlike a residual haunting (which is a non-interactive recording of past events), an intelligent entity can react to investigators, answer questions through equipment, and purposefully manipulate objects in its environment.
