It is said that if you go to the third floor at night and try to walk down the 200-foot hallway, books will be thrown at you. It’s also rumored that if you walk down the hall and yell, lockers will start opening, and you’ll hear voices over the intercom - voices coming from the main office, even when no one is there.
The school is believed to be built on top of an old Native American burial ground. When you enter through the main entrance, it’s said you’re stepping directly on the grave of the tribe’s leader.
About 10 to 15 years ago, a secretary passed away. These days, when you walk into the office, you can sometimes smell the perfume she used to wear. Her chair is always found lowered and arranged just the way she liked it when she worked there.
Also on the third floor, if you walk down the hallway and look into the classrooms through the doors, you might see people sitting inside, quietly doing homework. According to legend, these are former students who died in a car crash - forever stuck in study hall.
