Years ago, a young boy was struck in a late-night hit-and-run. His spirit is said to linger at the exact spot where it happened. According to local legend, if you pull over at the site, which is marked by a leaf-shaped sign on the road, turn off your engine, and wait five seconds before trying to restart your car, the engine will refuse to turn over. The only way to get it going again is to step out, push the vehicle off the marked area, and then try starting it once more. Only then will the car respond.
