South Seas Resort

Description

In employee housing, Room 51 is said to be haunted by a baker who died there. Orbs have been captured in photos, footsteps are often heard, and many report sensing a strong presence.

At the north end of the resort, the King's Crown restaurant is haunted by a former manager who died on the premises. After hours, employees have heard the piano playing on its own. When they check, no one is ever there. If the silverware isn’t rolled correctly, staff may step out of the room and return to find the bucket dumped out. Known for his sense of humor, the spirit sometimes arranges the silverware into a zigzag pattern across the tables.

The resort itself sits on what was once a plantation, where many enslaved people were killed. Some say their spirits still walk the grounds. A small historic cemetery lies just a block away.
