Nestled in St. Joseph, Missouri, the Old Park Floral Building at Krug Park holds a special place in local history. Once home to a beautiful glass conservatory and formal flower gardens, Park Floral was a beloved landmark gifted to the city by Henry Krug in 1890.
Though the conservatory is long gone, replaced by playgrounds and picnic areas, the old building’s story lives on. Some say the floral shop closed because no one wanted to buy it. Rumor has it the weird happenings scared off potential buyers.
