Device limits apply per registered user account. For example, an investigator on the Explorer tier can be logged in concurrently on 2 personal devices (e.g., a mobile phone capturing telemetry in the dark and a tablet or laptop in basecamp). Similarly, a Field Agent can run 5 simultaneous devices under their login. Team member capacity is tracked independently under the Team Member Roster Limit (up to 5 members on Explorer, 10 on Field Agent, and unlimited on Lead Investigator), meaning every registered teammate gets their own dedicated device allowance when they log into the shared case.

“Pooled” means storage is shared collectively across your team rather than trapped in rigid individual silos.

Under Haunted Lineage Lab’s pooled storage architecture:

• If you investigate solo: Your tier allotment (e.g. 2 GB on Explorer, 30 GB on Field Agent, 120 GB on Lead Investigator) acts as your personal storage vault for all your cases, audio files, and telemetry logs.
• If you work with a team: The total storage quota available to your shared case files is the combined sum of all team members’ subscriptions plus any active add-on boost packs (calculated dynamically as SUM(base_quota + storage_addons)).
• No wasted space or blocked uploads: For example, if a team consists of one Lead Investigator (120 GB) and two Field Agents (30 GB each), the entire group shares a collective pool of 180 GB. Any member can upload high-resolution FLAC audio, uncompressed baseline sweeps, or video evidence to the team’s shared cases without worrying about hitting an individual user cap.

Both our website and mobile apps utilize an offline-first architecture powered by industry-standard persistent local engines. When investigators enter subterranean crypts, remote mountain tracts, or concrete military bunkers with zero cellular reception, telemetry sweeps continue logging at full precision. The moment network connectivity is re-established, the lab initiates an automated catch-up sync, reconciling local logs with the cloud vault without freezing sessions or losing timestamps.

Client-side transcription executes 100% on-device inside your browser or native device memory without transmitting audio over the internet—making it instant, air-gapped, and fully functional with zero cellular signal. Server-Assisted Deep Core ASR (available on Field Agent and Lead Investigator) dispatches anomalous audio segments to high-concurrency cloud GPU clusters for multi-pass acoustic decoding, contextual phonetic parsing, and advanced background speech isolation where low-amplitude whispered EVPs are present.

Our Video Lab features an on-device dual-mode optical triage engine designed specifically for field conditions. It automatically differentiates between static vigil camera placements (detecting subtle localized pixel energy shifts against a baseline) and handheld room sweeps (compensating for global camera movement to identify divergent anomalous transients). Detected anomalies are automatically clustered into chronological incident bookmarks on your timeline with synced telemetry markers.

White-label report generation is unlocked on both Field Agent and Lead Investigator subscriptions. While the free Explorer tier outputs reports with Haunted Lineage Lab watermarks and header branding, paid tiers allow you to completely strip platform marks, insert your organization’s custom logos, add investigator credentials, configure corporate color accents, and generate client-ready multi-page reports across 15 customizable sections in both PDF and editable Microsoft Word (.docx) formats.
