DuBois Hall is a dormitory at Mount St. Mary’s University with a history of reported paranormal activity. Students have reported toilets flushing on their own, window shades being pulled up and down, and unexplained voices coming from empty rooms. The building is named for Father John DuBois, the founder of the university.

Haunted by a woman who used to live there. It was a mansion converted into a restaurant in the mid 60’s. Now the story is, that she lived there with her brother for many years, but they rarely spoke, and they say, for this reason, she haunts this place.

This popular inn and restaurant hosts several ghost stories. Guests and staff report mischief, strange noises, and objects moving unexpectedly. Pots and pans sometimes fall from hooks, and pictures won’t stay on the walls.
After dark, apparitions can be seen of Fern Westfall, the founder of the school, knocking books off the shelves. Reports also state that a portrait of her in the elementary cafeteria contains roaming eyes that follow curious, staring students.
It’s rumored Circuit City was built over an Indian burial ground. At night, workers have reported returning to find items knocked to the floor after cleaning up. Some also claim to hear unexplained voices.
Witnesses have claimed many different things happening. Doors open or shut without reason, things will be “misplaced”, and voices have been heard on occasions.
Witnesses have reported something jumping on them and jumping on beds to find a figure run straight through the door into the hallway.
Strong presences are felt throughout, particularly in the northeast cloister near the Lincoln bust. The mission-themed Glockenspiel was designed by Alice Miller, who died just before its completion. The clock is notorious for misbehaving.
