People have seen ghosts and heard strange noises like guns and cannons. Apparitions of Confederate soldiers are seen more often.
Site of a Civil War battle in southwest Missouri. At night, you can hear soldiers walking and talking in the woods at the site.
Cold spots and apparitions have been reported.
The Surrender House in Dover, Tennessee which is part of Fort Donelson National Battlefield Park is haunted. A volunteer at site experienced some pretty odd things. A ghostly presence of a Federal Officer.
