Room 206 is haunted by the ghost of a man who rises from bed also bed shakes, and feels like someone is getting in bed beside you when no one is there. The room stays cold and it feels as if you’re being watched. The sink also comes on by itself.
Visitors have reported cold spots and sightings of apparitions within the historic hotel.
On the bottom floor, in one of the rooms near the front, a ghost appears dressed in late 1700s attire, including a triangle-shaped hat. The spirit has a weathered, leathery face and is dressed as a farmer rather than a soldier. It stands in one’s face and mumbles, though no intelligible words have been heard.
