A 19th-century Victorian mansion in the woods, far outside of town, perched atop a huge hill overlooking the countryside for miles. This house was the scene of four deaths in the early 20th century. Since then, the house has burned two times, and now only the rock walls and foundation remain to stand watch over miles of lonely woods. If you make it through the mile of lush vegetation to the top of the hill, you will generally be greeted by your flashlights failing, strange, invisible people shouting your name, odd smells, and strange animals running through the dark only a few meters in front of you. But probably the most frightening part of the whole ordeal is when what is left of the fireplace starts to blaze on its own as you leave.
