Description

The Old White Oak, as it is called, has many strange things happen atop that mountain, right off 11W in Surgoinsville. A black dog seems to watch over Colonel Maxwell’s grave but disappears right after being sighted. Birds erupt at night if anyone gets within a few feet of this Revolutionary soldier’s grave, and many have heard footsteps in the leaves walking along with them at night.

📝 Case Notes

Haunted Lineage note: The listing originally came to us incorrectly stating that Colonel George Maxwell had the rank of Captain. We have corrected the information in the listing above.
