Haunted Lineage note: The location was previously mapped to Covington, KY due to an import error. The address and geographic taxonomy were updated to reflect the true location in the ghost town of Fall Brook in Ward Township, Tioga County, PA.
Fall Brook was a coal town founded in 1860 and abandoned by 1900. While the legend claims little girls died of the bubonic plague, historical records indicate a severe smallpox outbreak struck the town in 1871-1872, claiming several lives. Many of the headstones in the remaining cemetery belong to children.
