Description
The Old Gym at the former Plattsburgh Air Force Base once served as a morgue for mangled body parts during wartime, and was also used as an insane asylum. Before that, the site was an old Army base connected to the Battle of Plattsburgh in 1812. There have been reports of screams throughout the night in the gym. People working in the gym have heard pounding coming from the doors of where the morgue was. Weights have been heard moving around when no one was inside. Sounds of people walking on the upper floor, which is now a track, have also been reported.

Haunted Lineage note: Former Plattsburgh Air Force Base, a Strategic Air Command installation closed in September 1995. The Old Gym (Building 414), originally constructed in 1932, served as an Army facility. Claims that it housed a morgue or functioned as an insane asylum could not be substantiated through historical records or official documentation at this time. The building is now a YMCA.
