Description

This is the burial site of Edgar Cayce, Union General James S. Jackson, and Jesse Bell (one of the children from the Bell Witch legend in Adams, Tennessee). There have been reports of screams in the cemetery, people staring out of the front gate, and strong smells of lilac even in winter when snow is on the ground.

📝 Case Notes

Haunted Lineage note: The original listing incorrectly stated that a Civil War general was killed in Hopkinsville by a Union sympathizer. Union General James S. Jackson is buried here, but he was killed in battle at Perryville in 1862, not in Hopkinsville.
