On the 10th floor of the old section of the library, people report a distinct feeling of being watched. The elevator will sometimes open on its own and it sounds like people are getting in and out, but no one is there. The side desk areas also seem strangely busy, with the sound of writing coming from empty desks. Apparitions have also been seen. In the new section, visitors occasionally report similar sensations, as if something is drifting over from the older building.
