Milwaukee – Sandburg Halls – there have been many incidents in North Tower. On the G2 level there is occasionally mysterious squeaking coming through the concrete floors, objects are known to move independently.
At least six different spirits have been witnessed repeatedly – a poltergeist, a singing nun, the mother superior, a janitor, strangely-laughing children and a malevolent presence have all been reported.
Myers Hall was a Civil War hospital. A dying soldier demanded to see his horse. The horse was brought in, but upon finishing the task the horse refused to go down the stairs to leave so he was shot. The horse’s spirit still roams the halls.
