Description

There is a ghostly figure that wanders around the 1st floor east wing, a boy in his teens who is almost solid and clearly visible. He has blonde hair and wears old-fashioned clothes. He sticks to the bathroom, but never comes out. Girls using the bathroom late at night are met by a horrific sight: he’s dangling from the shower rods with his neck nearly severed, then gets down, walks into the wall with his head hanging on his neck, and disappears. A trail of blood follows him as he laughs in a really weird high-pitched voice. Suddenly, a fierce wind starts blowing and pins you up against the wall, the doors slam shut, and 2 big pairs of red eyes loom out towards you. Afterwards, you hear a really high-pitched cackling, then all of a sudden it stops, the lights go back on again, you fall on the floor, and it all looks normal as if nothing ever happened. Upon research, nothing has been found on any type of murder on the premises.

📝 Case Notes

Haunted Lineage note: The title was updated to specify Gregg Hall Dormitory, and the address was corrected to 207 N San Marco Ave. Established in 1883, the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind has a rich history, but no historical records support the gruesome legend of a murdered boy on the premises.
