The story goes that a couple who just got married were passing through the park on their way to their honeymoon. When all of a sudden the groom lost control of his vehicle and crashed into an old tree, the impact was so devastating that the bride was ejected from the car and fell next to the old tree. They say that the ground opened up and took her, and when the police arrived all they found was the groom dead and a piece of white cloth sticking out of the ground.
