Back before the extensions were built to expand the high school, tunnels and walkways were constructed beneath the older structure, creating a maze of disjointed underground paths. Strange occurrences are frequently reported, including malfunctioning equipment that causes erratic temperature shifts throughout the building. Hatches leading into these areas reportedly vibrate periodically with audible growling sounds, and objects near slightly opened tunnel entrances are pulled downward.
Haunted Lineage note: Novi High School was established in 1966 and opened its current campus on Taft Road in 1977 on the former Fuerst family farm. Significant renovations and expansions were completed between 1993–1996 and 2001–2004 to accommodate the growing student body.
