Description

Point Iroquois Lighthouse, outside of Brimley, is said to be haunted. There is a story about a ghost girl who was eaten by a bear, the bear was later killed and parts of the girl were discovered inside. The site is also the location of an Indian battle, which took place in the 1600’s, where the Ojibwe and Iroquois had a battle, and the Iroquois were slaughtered. The lighthouse has had cold spots and figures have been seen.

📝 Case Notes

Haunted Lineage note: Address and location verified. The lighthouse is associated with an Ojibwe-Iroquois battle from 1662 and local legends about a ghost girl and bear encounter. Visitors report cold spots and apparitions.
