The locked 4th floor of Young Hall remains closed to students, surrounded by local lore concerning the mid-20th-century suicide of a student athlete. Investigators frequently note heavy orb activity and structural anomalies on this floor.
When this used to be an orphanage, night staff documented recurring, activity like clockwork between 1:00 AM and 1:30 AM. Common reports included the distinct, heavy scent of vintage ladies’ floral perfume, phantom crying from sleeping quarters where all children were confirmed asleep, and the sound of a woman humming “Amazing Grace” down empty corridors.
