The Old Exchange and Provost Dungeon served as a British prison during the Revolutionary War, with its basement, the Provost Dungeon, reportedly haunted by the spirits of prisoners and pirates. Visitors have reported sightings of apparitions, hearing phantom screams, and experiencing cold spots throughout the building and its dungeon.

This is an old cotton mill that opened in 1896. The mill is in bad shape, but you can still get in. There are blood spots in some rooms, cold spots, and some very scary noises.

The infamous house of Margaret Brown is haunted, although by whom has not yet been determined. An investigator found cold spots throughout the house, the scent of pipe tobacco when no one was smoking, and doors that had “a mind of their own”. Apparitions have also been seen. The house is now a tourist attraction.
The upper suites are very cold at night, and there’s a strong feeling of unease in the master bedroom of the two bedrooms. Rooms can feel uncomfortable, especially after dark.
