Wood County Historical Museum, County Home Road. The museum was once an infirmary and nursing home. Ghostly noises have been heard in and near the shed where insane patients were locked long ago. Also, a padlock on a door was once seen to spin without being touched.

Haunted Lineage note: The Wood County Museum is located on the grounds of the former Wood County Infirmary, which operated from 1869 to 1971. The 50-acre site features a large Victorian-era building with over 30 exhibit rooms dedicated to local history, along with original outbuildings including a lunatic asylum, pestilence house, and paupers’ cemetery.
