Plattsburg High School

The spirit of former star athlete haunts this high school. On random nights, people in the building have heard basketballs bouncing in the gym when no one is there. There are also reports of strange whisperings, eerie lights, and other strange occurrences.

Sounds of an old lady’s voice screaming for her lost children has been heard late at night by joggers and footsteps have been seen in the pond water.

Pine Grove Cemetery

Some have reported hearing children playing, smelled roses, heard chains rattling, hot spots where it would be warmer than the rest of the cemetery and on the way out witnesses have seen three figures which seemed to be guarding the gates, and four figures walking toward them.    

Bara-Hack Settlement

The Feed Mill

On hot summer nights you can occasionally hear the train whistle blowing. They tore the tracks out to put in a rail trail and there has not been a train through there for at least five years if not more.

Main St. (private residence)

An ex-tenant reports faucets turning on by themselves in the bathroom when she was alone in the house, only to turn back on when she would shut them off. She also reports hearing her record player playing by itself.

Dogface Bridge

Supposedly a couple was murdered here, and at midnight you can hear the lady screaming and a dog howling. The car that they supposedly drove still sits there, and the road has been shut down. Chain Reaction

Employees report talking and laughing late at night in the back alley and in bathrooms. Upon investigation, no one is there. A bum was found dead in the back alley. Since then, the venue was converted from a Mexican restaurant to a club. It was formerly a biker bar, where there were many reported stabbings.

A benevolent wraith called “Photy” lives in the main darkroom most often seen standing by the northern-western-most enlarger. Usually the most sensitive students see his outline, which appears lighter than the surroundings. Hotel St. Michael

Not to much is told about the hotel, but there is a lady that haunts it. Footsteps are heard in the halls and the feeling of being watched is everywhere. I even have a picture of an orb in one of the rooms.
