It is said that at night, when no one is in the building, books are pulled from the shelves and left open on the floor. When workers arrive for their shifts, they find the books scattered.
Witnesses have reported seeing objects moving in the balcony windows even when the lights are out, as well as hearing unexplained whistling noises. The building was previously under construction, leading to rumors that a related death may have occurred.
Sunland was an old mental hospital in the Pine Hills section of town. There are many reports of poltergeist activity, voices, and screams. It has now been demolished and turned into a park, where it is still believed to be haunted.
