Former residents report an oppressive history they just couldn’t shake. Witnesses have reported disembodied voices echoing down empty hallways and shadowy apparitions pacing interior rooms. One young girl reported a man just standing in the upstairs bedroom watching them sleep. The heavy atmosphere extends outdoors, marked by frequent unexplained dead animals in the yard and a traumatic incident where a neighborhood youth survived a hanging out front. Passersby have reported seeing an old man smiling at them from an attic window.
