This place has a huge reputation for paranormal activity that seems to pull from all its different eras. People walking in often talk about a heavy, sudden silence hitting themβlike walking into a packed room where everyone just stops talking to stare at you. Back when it was a community theater, actors would catch glimpses of spirits hanging out by the stage-left curtain and just assume they were stage crew. You’ll also hear stories about phantom church music echoing through the empty building and the disembodied voice of a priest giving a sermon, not to mention leftover residual energy from the lively crowds back in its American Legion days.
