Southern Oaks Inn

Footsteps can be heard upstairs in the main house. Several people have also witnessed ghostly apparitions of a male and female, thought to be former owners of the house. Employees have witnessed loaves of bread flying toward them in the kitchen. The present owners have repeatedly had to reposition furniture to its proper position.

Kennesaw Mountain

The site of a major civil war battle, many trenches are still visible and people venturing there at night have heard cannon fire and seen apparitions of soldiers

Mann Union Square 6 Theatre (closed)

In 1997 the theatre was haunted by an old man with a bad temper. Employees were teased and tormented, many quit. Even customers noticed him wandering around. Management had to bring in a specialist.  

Daniels Park

There is an old 19th century armory on the south face of the hill, below and to the left of the park facilities, it’s where a ghost named “Kether” dwells. Pine Grove Cemetery

Some have reported hearing children playing, smelled roses, heard chains rattling, hot spots where it would be warmer than the rest of the cemetery and on the way out witnesses have seen three figures which seemed to be guarding the gates, and four figures walking toward them.

Coronado Apartments

An apartment on the first floor of the M building is haunted by the spirit of a woman. Muffled voices are heard, phantom music emanating from the kitchen, lights turned on and off, cabinet doors opened, and she has appeared as a full apparition. The National Exchange Hotel

Apparent hauntings occur here. Built in the late 1800’s the building was restored recently with the exception of the left wing. Lights flicker, cold spots and creepy feeling in this wing of the building. The hotel has hosted miners and tourists who come looking for hauntings.

Chain Reaction

Employees report talking and laughing late at night in the back alley and in bathrooms. Upon investigation, no one is there. A bum was found dead in the back alley. Since then, the venue was converted from a Mexican restaurant to a club. It was formerly a biker bar, where there were many reported stabbings.

Former Apple Valley Inn Property

Hotel St. Michael

Not to much is told about the hotel, but there is a lady that haunts it. Footsteps are heard in the halls and the feeling of being watched is everywhere. I even have a picture of an orb in one of the rooms.

Daisy Mae’s Stronghold (Closed)

This restaurant is haunted by a ghost named Charlie. Built in the 1880’s, it was a stage stop, post office, and a brothel.    

Mobile Christian School

Students and coaches have heard people playing basketball in the gym. Games from the football field being announced when no game is taking place.
